Perched on the edge of a rock outcropping on top of Web Peak at the Summit at Cordillera, the home was inspired by the great lodges of the National Parks. The home features a curved log/glass two level gallery designed to capture the panoramic views. Massive log columns throughout the entry and great room reinforce the scale of this incredible residence. This grand home was one of the six homes selected to be be part of the Cordillera Homes Tour in July, 2007.

The design of this residence was inspired by traditional post & timber design and National Park Architecture. The home was the recipient of the 2002 Platinum Medal in the 'Best in American Living Award' competition held by the national Association of Home Builders. This home has been shown in Architectural Digest and was featured on the cover of Mountain Homestyle magazine.

975 Pilgrim Drive, Pilgrim Downs

14,000 sf, Custom Residence

This magnificent estate responds to the natural topography and views while providing a backdrop for the client's sophisticated contemporary art collection. The home stretches out along the site to allow natural light into all of the spaces. The interior features reclaimed cypress, polished concrete floors and antique wood. Per the client's wishes, the exterior presents a facade of rusticated stone veneer combined with arts and craft style timberwork.

Clients for this unique home requested we design a structure inspired by turn of the century barns of the American Midwest. Complete with silo, the residence includes a many reclaimed materials from barns constructed in the mid 1800's. This home was featured on the cover of Log and Timber Style magazine.

179 Highlands Way, Mountain Village, Telluride
4,600 sf, Custom Residence

Local mining traditions inspired the design for this interesting home near Telluride. The architecture has and additive form with three distinct masses giving it a 'camp' feel as desired by the client. The design has an open floor plan while maintaining intimate spaces for both home owner and guest.

This custom residence was inspired by the Arts & Crafts traditions of the early 1920's. This home is elaborately detailed with emphasis on expressive timber details and use of natural Colorado stone. This distinctive home features a gracious and elegant porte-cochere entrance. This home was one of the seven homes selected to be be part of the Cordillera Homes Tour in July, 2006 as well as being featured in Mountain Living Magazine.

The home was built by CHC Mountain Structures, Inc.

A pure vacation home, this ultimate 'ski country lodge' was designed to accommodate the clients' growing family and guests.  With ski-in/ski-out access, the residence has immediate access to the world famous slopes of Bachelor Gulch and Beaver Creek.

Two stone towers anchor the entry porte-cochere and create a private office for the owner accessed by an enclosed bridge.  The home, with its European design flavor has fantastic views of the New York Mountains.

6,000 sf, Custom Residence

The home wraps around the site to capture the panoramic views of the Gore and New York Mountain Ranges.  The design reflects the owners east coast roots and interest in European design influences.  The copper shingled roof, curved timber trusses and extensive use of stone help to reinforce the developments western design guidelines.
