3219 Daybreak Ridge
This ski-in/ski-out 10,000sf custom residence is being built in the
exclusive Bachelor Gulch development near Beaver Creek, Colorado. This
lodge-like structure features a prominent stone base, hand-hewn siding and
log detailing. Completion is scheduled for summer 2010.
The home is being built by CHC Mountain Structures, Inc.
(970-328-3040). The foundation was poured in August and framing will
begin in September.
675 Saddle Ridge
Unobstructed views of New York Mountain and the Gore Range are captured
from every room in this 7250sf custom residence under construction in the
Ranch at Cordillera development near Vail, Colorado. The design incorporates
native Colorado beetle-kill logs along with many other sustainable/reclaimed
green building materials. The home will be completed in November of 2007.
The home is being built by Summit Habitats, Inc. (970-949-1743) Todd
Labine of Labine Builders is the on-site Superintendent (970-977-6609).
Brightwater Comfort Stations
These
simple structures will incorporate materials salvaged from century old
structures found on the property. Construction will start in the summer of
2008.
Brightwater Gatehouse
The
gatehouse for this new gated community was completed in the spring of 2007.
It features hand-hewn timbers and native Colorado stone.
